Are you passionate about safeguarding adults and young people and want to make a positive change?
Join our team of experienced safeguarding adult managers to help influence how safeguarding is approached across a whole range of sectors. Your role will include delivering training, research participation and auditing policy and practices for organisations in both public and private sectors. As a consultant you will offer advice and guidance and work with our team on national consultations that will help us to shape the future of safeguarding adults.
You must have experience of working in the field of safeguarding adults with a relevant qualification and significant vocational experience,. In addition an in-depth working knowledge of safeguarding adults legislation, practice and understanding of current issues is important.
As a skilled facilitator, you’ll need to be a good communicator with excellent organisational skills, as well as having an ability to influence and empower strategic partners and stakeholders.
We are a friendly, innovative team and you will have regular supervision from our senior management. The role offers a salary of £33,348 to £44,414 per annum depending on skills and experience, annual leave, pension and the flexible working benefits of being a University of Nottingham employee.
This post is available on a permanent basis. Hours of work are full time (36.25 hours). Job share arrangements may be considered.
