We’re looking for a new Safeguarding Adults in Sport Development Manager.
This is an opportunity to influence future planning and delivery of safeguarding advice and support to the sport and recreation sector.
You’ll be responsible for reviewing and developing services in relation to adults in sport. You’ll identify, plan, and implement new initiatives in line with current practice. You will develop and deliver a training strategy and offer advice and information to sport and recreation organisations. You’ll also represent the sector at key consultations nationally.

Candidates should have a social work or other relevant qualification and/or at least four years vocational experience.
You should have good communication and organisational skills, as well as experience of influencing strategic partners and stakeholders.
You must have a proven track record of working with adults and up to date knowledge of abuse and protection issues.
