Safeguarding Adults – An Introduction: Bilingual eLearning Course Now Available

Online Safeguarding Training

We are working in partnership with Sport Wales to support the launch of our first bilingual e-learning course which is specific for Wales.

Available in Welsh or English, this introductory course consists of two modules designed for individuals looking to begin learning about safeguarding adults.

It covers how to recognise safeguarding concerns and how to respond and report appropriately when a concern is raised.

Each module includes interactive elements to enhance your learning experience; videos, quizzes as well as case studies that are tailored to the course.

When you have finished both modules, you will receive a certificate of completion that will be issued in your chosen language.

Who is this course for?

The government is easing restrictions. Adults and children can start participating in organised sport again.

Sport Wales recommend that now is an ideal time to upskill yourselves and the sector on safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the ‘Return to Sport’ is a safe one.

So if you work in any environment with adults or where adults are present – whether it’s a sport and activity organisations, a charity or an organisation in the care sector and charities – this course is for you.

This course is also useful if you are looking to assess your own knowledge and understanding of the essential information.

The course is short, interactive and should take approximately 40 minutes to complete. You can take the modules at your own pace.
