Hello All!
This is my first blog to introduce myself as a new Marketing Officer. I started my role at the Ann Craft Trust earlier this month and have been made to feel very welcome by the team. I have settled in to the lovely Ann Craft Trust office, which is usually filled with lots of tea and biscuits!
I am excited to get involved with upcoming projects and events such as the fast approaching National Safeguarding Week and to continue communicating the fantastic work happening at the Ann Craft Trust by working on our social media channels, website and e-bulletins.
From previous roles working with young people and local community groups through widening participation initiatives, I have lots of experience working with vulnerable groups. I hope this experience will be valuable in my role here at the Ann Craft Trust.
Alongside my role, I am about to start studying towards an MA in Social Research Methods at the University of Nottingham where I will be developing my interest in widening participation, educational inequalities and social research. I am looking forward to utilising the skills I am learning about in my MA, to contribute towards the excellent work here at the Ann Craft Trust.
Over the coming months, I’m excited to discover more about the great work that the Ann Craft Trust and our partner organisations are doing and communicating that to our supporters.
