Good Luck To ParalympicsGB!

Paralympics Paris 24

The Ann Craft Trust is proud to have supported ParalympicsGB in their preparation for the Paralympic Games in Paris 2024.

The Ann Craft Trust delivered bespoke safeguarding training, jointly with the Child Protection in Sport Unit, to all members of the staffing team, whether they are based in Paris or the UK for the duration of the Games. The attendees included the logistics team, the medical team, the media team, the safeguarding team, and beyond.

The key aim of the training was to support the safeguarding team and the wider staff team with the knowledge and confidence to carry out their safeguarding roles and responsibilities during the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games period.

It is a privilege and a pleasure to work with the British Paralympic Association and ParalympicsGB ahead of each summer and winter Paralympics. The staff were really engaged in the training we delivered; getting stuck into role play scenarios, asking great questions and showing a genuine commitment to the welfare and wellbeing of the whole team.

The training and support we provided to ParalympicsGB complements the ongoing work we do directly with National Governing Bodies for sports competing at the Olympics and Paralympics, as well as a broad range of sport and activity organisations across the UK.

The safeguarding and welfare of all team members is a priority for ParalympicsGB. We are very grateful for the support we have received from the Ann Craft Trust in preparing staff for their responsibilities in this area during the Games and ensuring we can most effectively support team members to have a positive Games experience.
