Safeguarding Adults in Sport & Activity Seminar

There are still places available at the Safeguarding Adults in Sport Seminar in May this year. The day is for safeguarding adults champions and will explore safeguarding responsibilities and best practice in sport and activity.

Safeguarding Adults in Sport and Activity Seminar:
Organisational Responsibilities from Board to Club Level

Venue: Nottingham University

This one day seminar is for safeguarding adults champions at all levels of your organisation – from Board members to safeguarding and welfare leads. It is also relevant to Local Safeguarding Adults Board members looking to develop partnerships with sport and activity organisations.

Book on this seminar for the best practice in safeguarding adults from across the sport and activity sector. 

- Receive updates on new safeguarding adults policy and legislation

- Understand the safeguarding adults responsibilities across your organisation

- Get tips from organisation successfully integrating adult safeguarding into their sports and activity

- Share your own practice and network with a range of safeguarding and sport and activity organisations

- Hear how Sport England are investing in ACT to take forward the Safeguarding Adults Agenda 

You will have the opportunity to hear how sport and activity organisations are addressing their responsibilities regarding safeguarding adults, the chance to network across a range of sport and activity organisations and time to share your current policy and practice in this area.
