25 years on…
Deborah Kitson
In 1992 Ann Craft established NAPSAC (National Association for the Protection of Adults and children with Learning Disabilities from Abuse). Ann worked tirelessly in the 70’s and 80’s to raise awareness about the lives of people with learning disabilities and their restricted rights in the area of relationships. But she also became increasingly aware of the importance of safeguarding people from exploitative and abusive situations. I am proud to have had the opportunity to contribute to the work that she was so passionate about.
