Tania May, Trustee

Dr Tania May has been a GP in Nottinghamshire for over twenty years combining her role with the part-time position of teaching fellow at the University of Nottingham’s Medical School. Tania has a wealth of knowledge around safeguarding within our local communities through her experiences as a GP.

Tania joined ACT as a Trustee in 2013 and currently supports our staff in a variety of roles providing valuable guidance around management of staff, legacy fundraising and links within Nottinghamshire’s Health Service.

Tania’s brother, Paul, has severe learning disabilities and autism. He has continually inspired Tania’s belief that all people with disabilities deserve the same opportunities in life as everyone else and should be valued and positive members of their community.
